Hanover Hockey Association is excited to announce that Ben Lovejoy will be leading the organization’s player skills clinics starting in Fall 2020, and that Matt Underhill will return for his second season leading the goalie clinics.

Ben Lovejoy was born in New Hampshire and played for Cardigan Mountain School and Deerfield Academy before graduating from Dartmouth College. He then began his professional career and played in 11 NHL seasons, winning the Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016. Ben retired from the NHL in 2019 and now lives with his family in Hanover.

Matt Underhill was born in British Columbia and played all four years of college at Cornell University. During his professional career, he played in four seasons across the ECHL, AHL (including the Manchester Monarchs), and NHL (Chicago Blackhawks). He backstopped the Alaska Aces to win the Kelly Cup in 2006. Matt is now a teacher and coach at Kimball Union Academy.

HHA is preparing to start skills clinics this fall as soon as ice is available. The organization will be monitoring CDC, government, USA Hockey, and rink guidelines to plan how to safely conduct
educational and fun skills clinics.
